Our family of home brewers wanted to do something different. After spending many of our nights and weekends crafting different beers and ciders, we discovered honey wine, or mead.
We combine our brewing techniques with mead and found the perfect match, and have developed a wide range of flavor combinations. We have a passion for mead and love to share it with our customers.
The Gordon family welcomes you to Breaking Brew Meadery, the first mead tap room located in Farmers Branch, Texas, for a new kind of brewery experience. Please join us to try any of our mead currently on tap, and with several more flavors coming soon, each trip to the Meadery is sure to be different than the last.

Mead for Parties & Private Events

Host your party at the taproom Private events for up to 30 guests. Space rental from $150 (Wed/Thu), $250 (Fri/Sun) and $350 (Sat) for 3 hours, plus a $14-per-guest mead package (2 pours each), prepaid on your guest count with a 15-guest minimum. Flight upgrades available. Bring your own food or caterer. 50% deposit to book.
Kegs to go One-way Sanke D kegs in 1/6 bbl (about 55 pours) and 1/4 bbl (about 80 pours). No deposit, nothing to return. Tap pumps available to buy or rent. Pickup at the taproom. Mead stays fresh about a day once tapped.
Cans for your event. Available in 4-packs and full cases of 24. Great for tailgating, the pool, the beach, block parties, or any event.
